I would like to upgrade MC/serviceguard from 11.09 to 11.13 to be capable to use Serviceguard Manager. All help will be appreciated, how to deploy it etc. The cluster is business critical... So if anybody know about it something, incompatibility or anything else, please help it. Should we worry about the packages ?

Solution
Use the "Rolling Upgrade" procedure as described in the appendix of the SG manual
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/pdf/B3936-90053.pdf
Make sure you install the SG 11.13 patch that is available: PHSS_24678.
If you want to use SG Manager 2.00 that includes the Admin Features, you also need PHSS_22175 for the Cluster Object Manager.

Re: MC/Serviceguard upgrading
Hi Laszlo,
you have to do a rolling upgrade if you need to keep the SG up when the upgrade is in progress. Take a look at the thread below on some help in rolling upgrade.

It would be good if you patch your system with the latest patch before starting and then after completing the upgrade.
Hope this helps.
