Hi I am running to HPUX servers 11.11 with MC/SG using Informix as a package, after a reboot the cluster could not conatct the node2. The /etc/inied.conf had been changed so remsh, rlogin etc was not enabled. I corrected this and now node1 can connect to the node2, but both node1 and node2 cannot view thw cluster configuration, see below:
node2:/etc/cmcluster #/usr/sbin/cmviewconf
cmviewconf: Binary file does not exist.
node2:/etc/cmcluster #cmviewcl
cmviewcl : Cannot view the cluster configuration. Either this node is not configured in a cluster, or else there is some obstacle to viewing the configuration. Check the syslog file for more information. For a list of possible causes, see the ServiceGuard manual for cmviewcl.
I have checked all network config and it looks to be ok, also I have run a cmscancl on node1 and it seems ok with everything except the cmviewconf on the node2.
Any help would be gretly appreciated, as I have been pulling my hair out looking at this!!

Re: MC/SG 11.15 error
I have just solved it, by copying the inetd.conf file from the other node. Thanks for the response.

Re: MC/SG 11.15 error
Inetd was missing three lines regarding hacl-cfg and hacl-probe.
