Modem Configuration on HP9000 T600 Server

I have a dialin modem (US Robotics) configured on my system. I can dial in and connect, but it displays jurgeons at all baud rate settings.

Can one figure out what the problem may be.

Hi there.
As far as i know USR modems are not supported by HP. Here in Germany they give us MULTITECH modems instead. On this modem you can configure anything you want. We did the setup for dialing in and out and it works for six years now.

If you have a maintenance contract HP will give a modem...............

What telnet emulations have you tried?
Vt100 should work.
