need to have an entry in savecore to point to a file system I created /var/adm/crash /dev/vg00/lvol9... How do i do this t read the man pages but they were very vague.

Solution# SAVECRASH_DIR:Directory name for system crash dumps. Note: the filesystem
# in which this directory is located should have as much free
# space as your system has RAM.
# SAVECRASH_DIR=/var/adm/crash
That you can point to a different filesystem.

In the file /etc/rc.config.d/savecore
# SAVECORE: Set to 0 to disable saving system core files.
SAVECORE=1
# SAVECORE_DIR: Directory name for system core files. Note: the filesystem
# in which this directory is located should have as much free
# space as your system has RAM.
SAVECORE_DIR=/var/adm/crash
--
