network card
i have stratus 429 with HPUX ver 11 i have 2 10/100 network cards duplexed i have tried to install with them a single 1000 Giga network card every thing went ok until when i went to configure the ip and the aliase of the card
i gave her an ip no problem but when i gave her a name wich is different then the name of the other network cards it made a conflict with the name abd then both of them became the same name
any ideas guys

Hi,
command,
"ioscan -kfnC lan "
to see the list of claimed lan interfaces. &
"ifconfig lan#"
to confiure IP.
Edit the file "/etc/rc.config.d/netconf" to configure everything for a claimed lan interface.
