oci driver for oralce on hpux 11i

Dear Sirs,

We are seeing some performance issue in our web site. We are using weblogic 7 with oracle 9i RAC on hpux 11i boxes.

I remember oci driver for oracle had some performance issue but not able to recall what it was. Later on we had changed to thin type-2 or type-4 connection to database.

As most of the oracle runs on hpux boxes, i would appreciate if someone can throw some light on this.
