Problem with RAID 160
Hi,
I have the following messages on my rp4440 server. My OS is HPUX 11.11.
/adapters/events/raid_adapter/0_6_1_0 is >= 1.
Its current value is CRITICAL(5).
Event data from monitor:
Event Time..........: Sun Jan 22 17:36:17 2006
Severity............: CRITICAL
Monitor.............: dm_raid_adapter
Event #.............: 2
System..............: hpuxprod
Summary:Adapter at hardware path 0/6/1/0 : CISS: RAID160 SA adapter is now online.
My Raid Card is A7143A RAID160 SA.
Is a problem with my hardware??
Please help.
Thanks
David

Re: Problem with RAID 160
Shalom David,
Run cstm/mstm/xstm and make sure the card is okay.
Look at the syslog /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for further input.
If the disks hanging on the card are still functional, its probably just a configuration issue of the scsi id's of the disk.
If the card is nonfunctional, have hardware replace it.
