we have the following problem on a client workstation:
When trying to remsh or rlogin on this machine (HP-UX 10.10) with a NIS defined user, is does not reach the prompt.
With a local user like root it works fine.
The profiles (/etc, .profile and kshrc) are all performed and trying to kill the ksh process even with -9 does not work.
The parent rlogind can be killed, which leaves the ksh process detached.

Any idea what could cause this problem ?
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks,
Matthias Oswald
