Use

vgsync /dev/vg00

OR....

lvsync /dev/vg00/lvol9

may be quicker.

After vgcfgrestore you have to give vgchange -a y /dev/vg00
then do a vgsync /dev/vg00

I would just run vgsync .. (I'm assuming vg00 is activated already)
# vgsync /dev/vg00
and then
# vgchange -a y /dev/vg00
to activate it one more time (just to be sure).
Check the VG status with "lvdisplay" and "vgdisplay".

I liked Jeff's idea of lvsync (since the rest of the vg was happy)... although, the vgsync says in the man page that it would have only run on the stale volume anyway.

Anyway... it's back.
