Running vnc on HP 11.00

Has anyone running vnc on HP 11.00? Any place I can get detailed info? Getting error while trying to start on my worstation.

Once again:

Model Number and OS version on the Workstation.

Version number and short description of vnc would be extremely useful.

Basic shots in the dark:

Is the workstation patched? There is a March 2003 Quality Pack for 11.00 and 11i(11.11).

Its probably a good idea to install that.

Also, cut and paste the error message into this forum so someone has a chance in heck of helping you.

Try Tight-VNC. You can get an HP-UX compiled version at:

ftp://ftp.kinetworks.com/tightvnc

and lots of documentation at:

what's the error, I have vnc running @ 11.00 on a J6700, also check contents and comment on files in $HOME/.vnc namely the log file and the Xsrartup script.
