Sam -r
hi guys i am trying to set up some sam rights and cannot seem to access the sam -r.
it goes in but as soon as i try to select a privaledge it hangs and then eventually errors with the error below.
XIO: fatal IO error 238 (Connection timed out) on X server "workstation ip address"
after 2160 requests (2153 known processed) with 316 events remaining.
sam itself works fine it just seems just the restricted version.
anyone seen this before.
andy

Re: Sam -r
Yes, try it with telnet - non X - something like putty.
XIO: fatal IO error 238 is an X Windows error - not SAM.
