SW depot index

Is there an easy way to rebuilt the index file of a SW depot?

Re: SW depot index

Hi:

Do an (re)install of something like Ignite. Any patch will suffice. This should fix a corrupt IPD.

Re: SW depot index

Hello,

here are the steps on creating a new index file:

1) cd /tmp
2) vi void.psf with

product
tag void
fileset
tag void

3) swpackage -s ./void.psf
4) swinstall void
5) swremove void
6) rm -r /var/spool/sw/void
7) rm /tmp/void.psf

That should do the trick,

Re: SW depot index

Thank you everyone. I ended up using swcopy to (re)add a package to the depot and this fixed the INDEX.
