Re: swap sapce ????

e - Swap space is bounded by maxswapchunks * swchunk * device block size (1024 bytes at
the moment).

This gives an upper bound of:
16384 * 65536 * 1024 = 1Tb

Re: swap sapce ????

This was answered in your question of the same subject yesterday.

Many of the answers you could find yourself by doing a bit of investigating with man pages and other resources. For kernel parameters, go into sam -> Kernel Configuration -> Configurable Parameters -- then select the paramater you want information on, in this case maxswapchunks, then go up to the Actions menu and select Modify Configurable Parameter. When that screen pops up select Help, the scroll down and click on Configurable Kernel Parameters. This will give you a list of parameters and you can click on each one for more information. To back out of the modify screen without modifying the kernel parameter, click on Cancel.

Re: swap sapce ????

Hi:

You are obviously attempting to take a test and/or prepare for one.

I respectfully submit that this is *NOT* the appropriate place to flood with your exam questions. As Patrick and others have noted, the "man pages"; reading the posts in this forum; a SEARCH of this forum by topic; and the use of www.docs.hp.com are much more appropriate ways to study.
