Re: Two Node cluster not coming up on both sides

Hi:

AUTO_START_TIMEOUT (usually 10-minutes) must expire before cluster formation will occur. Have you let this elapse before manually initiating the cluster?

Regards!

Re: Two Node cluster not coming up on both sides

Unfortunately Yes James,

I waited a lot, and trying to bring up the cluster simply as cmruncl I got a failure. The only way was to bring up at least one side, but after that the other side refused to join.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Two Node cluster not coming up on both sides

hi,

You can try bringing down the cluster and starting it on the other node. cmruncl -n telismsa, just to make sure it is working fine.

Re: Two Node cluster not coming up on both sides

Ciao Raj !

Situation is 100% symmetric. Whenever one side is up the other does not join ... I verified cmcld goes up for a short timeframe (one minute or so) and then goes down.

cheers,

Mike

Re: Two Node cluster not coming up on both sides

Hi to all !

I did the hard way ...

I reapplied the cmapplyconf overwriting existing binary files. It works fine, better than nothing.

Thanks for your attention !

Cheers,
