Unable to logon after conversion to trusted system

Hi, I've converted a HPUX 11.00 system to trusted. Telnet logon is fine. But no users can logon via Xserver using graphic connections. The username and password is less than 8 characters.Have rebooted the server, but the situation pertains. Kindly Help. points will be awarded

what is the error message its showing while login through Xserver?

rebooting the server won't possibly solve your problem.

actually, when you convert the system to trusted mode the passwords for all the users expire.

Try this

/usr/lbin/modprpw -k

It would refresh the IDs.

Try it and let us know the result.

XDMCP Broadcast is likely disabled. Check to make sure its ports are open. Another possibility is use of a special character in the password (# or @); probably unlikey if all users have thsi problem.

ahsan ->> The error is "Login incorrect"

prasadb ->> The ids shouldn't be locked as the ids can telnet login into the server
But i'll give it a try when i've access to the server. Let you know the result.

Walt Watson ->> i've never came across this option about XDMCP Broadcast. Will check if it is disabled. By the way, what ports are you referring to? Basically i'm accessing the server from nc2000 box. I'm not sure which ports needs to be open.
All the users are having the same issue after system is converted to trusted, so i believe the special character possibility should be ruled out.
