Unable to ping Gateway

Hello All,

I have created one Vswtich using lan0 ( Which is being used by the host) and i have assinged the vswitch to a VM. But when i try to ping the Gateway from Vm it is not pinging. Also when i try to set the gateway using set_parms addl_netwrk in Vm it is giving me below error

WARNING: Unable to contact gateway at 10.100.2.1.

The gateway system may be down or there may be a network disruption.

Verify that the address 10.100.2.1 is correct.

Also Please find the netstat -nr output from VM

First question...can you ping that gateway from any other box?

Have you talked to your network person to ensure things are solid there?
