Veritas netbackup 5.0 problem

When we tried to telnet using telnet hostname 13782. We found the following error.

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/lib/libc.2
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
Connection closed by foreign host.

Re: Veritas netbackup 5.0 problem

Shalom,

Seems that netbackup was not installed corectly.

check the existance of the files mentioned in /usrlib and make sure the SHLIB_PATH variable is correctly set when re-installing.

Make sure any firewalls en route are not interfering with trafic transmission.
