vgcfgrestore

can you please tell me why do we use vgcfgrestore, please tell me when and where we have to use vgcfgrestore command?

Usually you use vgcfgrestore if you replace a physical disk to restore the LVM layout to the new disk (not the data).

Most generally, 'vgcfgrestore' is used when you have replaced a physical disk due to a failure.  You might want to look at:
