Also my favorite hobby is my family: 1 wife, 2 boys (11 and 13), one girl (14 months).
Every Saturday it's soccer day - I like watching my boys playing football in a club in the south of Munich (near by FC Bayern):

We like hikeing in the bavarian alps, sailing, inline skating and swimming.
I like reading books (sci-fi, astronomy) and watching DVD (sci-fi, Potter, Lord of the rings).

The file isn't too big (95K), but perhaps the house/garden etc. is to big to keep in shape all the time, leaving time to other hobbies as well.

Hmm. Why no points if computers are a hobby? It happens that I've owned a personal computer since 1979, did not use computers at work until 1988, and didn't start working in the IT field until 1992. Yeah, I work on 'em 9 hours a day and hobby on 'em for 2 hours a day. But there's certainly no confusing the two for me.

Aside from that - hiking.

No kids here but, do spend a great deal of time with the niece and two nephews. The last two years I've coached the oldest boy's basketball team - 3rd & 4th graders and then 5th& 6th graders.
Plenty of home improvement and maintenance projects. I won't call those hobbies though. Necessary evils.
When time and weather allows I like to get out on my Yamaha Virago. This is my best friends oldest son. All the friends kids love rides.

Interesting thread this one; think I prefer it to some of the other personal off-topic ones!

I hardly touch computers outside of my job; though it was the hobby side that kinda got me here in the first place. Instead here are some things that help reduce my pay cheque and occupy the time between getting them:

1) hifi - slowly building my system up in stages.

2) RC stuff - I've got a fuel powered hovercraft due any day :)

3) travelling - it does me good to see other parts of the world!

Interests:
Enjoying the company of my wife and daughter (still in college).
Working on my British cars.
Have a '73 MGB and a '73 TR6 (yeah I'm a glutton for punishment).
Working in the yard, and in the house. New house since June '02.
Entertaining the grand kids
(and sending them home afterwards)!
