Whatever happen to ImageView.
We've just moved to HpUx11 and Imageview appears to have vanished? Is there a freebie equivalent? And where can I find it?
Cheers

Re: Whatever happen to ImageView.
See the 11.00 Release Notes in /usr/share/doc
and search for imageview:
6.13.1 Multimedia Applications No Longer Part of HP-UX CORE
..
imageview
6.13.2 Multimedia Applications Supplied as Part of MPower/Web Product
..
imageview
The imageview command is no longer supported on HP-UX 10.30, even though the 10.20 version of the imageview(1) manpage is available. The imageview command was last supported at HP-UX 10.20. However, the ImagingSubsystem.IMAGE-SHLIBS fileset does exist on HP-UX 10.30.
If you who would like to display those image files, there is the fileset ImagingDevKit which includes the source files etc to compile and link "imageview" binary on hp-ux 11.00.
Public domain software for HPUX can be downloaded on http://gatekeep.cs.utah.edu . You
will probably find something on this server, too.

Re: Whatever happen to ImageView.
I'm not so sure on that ..... imageview is available for 11.00 but is not on the core O/S cd instead you would need to install the mpowerweb bundle of the apps cd which would most likely be purchaseable
