When trying to add new client for recovery from an Ignite server to a client, I am getting an error
ERROR: RPC exception: "Communications failure (dce / rpc)"
ERROR:Could not start a management session for
"lxcnas05:/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds". The system administrator for host "lxcnas05" may have disabled the
swagentd daemon or there may be a networking problem affecting the operation. If the swagentd daemon has been disabled, it
can be enabled by the system administrator on "lxcnas05" by setting the "SW_ENABLE_SWAGENTD" entry in
/etc/rc.config.d/swconfig to "1" and executing
"/usr/sbin/swagentd -r".
* Source connection failed for
"lxcnas05:/var/opt/ignite/depots/recovery_cmds".
I have done what was explained above. Restarted swagentd on both servers. Both servers can access each other ok through remsh. I can NFS mount a file system from one server to another. Not sure what else to look at.

Re: When trying to add new client for recovery from an Ignite server to a client, I am getting an error
from your client can you run this command:
swlist -l depot @ lxcnas05
if that works, verify the depot path.
if that doesn't work, take a look at /va/adm/sw/swagentd.log and post the error message

Re: When trying to add new client for recovery from an Ignite server to a client, I am getting an error
I suspect the command
swreg -l depot
Needs to be run on the NFS depots.
