xstm mapping "view"

I have a question on xstm view. When I run the xstm gui interface it comes up with information that looks like an ioscan.
How do display it with the layout looking like boxs for the cpu and disk etc.? When I run it on the other server’s looks all nice and mapped out with devices. I do have the diagmond running. I'm looks for that fancy view.

Thanks in advance

Re: xstm mapping "view"

you haven't exported your DISPLAY variable.

export DISPLAY=youripaddress:0

then run xstm to get fancy look.

Re: xstm mapping "view"

Under options -> maps is XSTM text map checked? Could you have more then 254 devices and its automatically checking
"Xstm text map (graphical map limited to 254 devices)
?

I noticed when I clicked on that, it gave me what your describing.

If its checked, uncheck it.
