Can't install Qlogic fibrecard software on Itanium
I have an rx3600 running RedHat 4 with a pair of Qlogic (QLA2460) cards. When I try to install the software that I download from HP (either hp_qla2x00-2007-1-25.zip or the *10-11.zip) I get the following errors...

It does install 2 rpms, but this can't be a complete install...
fwiw the sansurfer rpm doesn't install either.
Any ideas?

Re: Can't install Qlogic fibrecard software on Itanium
Hi,
Small update. I was able to get SANsurfer 5 to install, but when I run it I just get two blank grey boxes...

Re: Can't install Qlogic fibrecard software on Itanium
Another update. I apparently needed to install kernel-devel to get the installation script to run. The hp_qla driver is now built...good.
I still just get two blank boxes with SANsurfer though...

Re: Can't install Qlogic fibrecard software on Itanium
So, now that I have the drivers, I removed SANSurfer and re-installed it...and it seems to work.
Geez...I should give myself points for this :-)
