I need to make tree new hp/ux 11.00 installations.
When I made the first one I will copy the image too the next disk.
I know I have to change the network settings afterwards.

It is a king off partion copy.
Best regards

Hi,
if you have streamer you can make ignite boot tape and boot from it.

If not you can boot from cd and use dd command
to copy disks:

dd if=/dev/rdsk/src_disk of=/dev/rdsk/dst_disk bs=4M

Hi,
What did you mean with streamer.
If I boot from cd I need a burner off course, but I don├В┬┤t have any burner.
If I had a burner will that be the best solution.
Can I do it from the network if I use Ignite.
I have no expirence with Ignite...it is the best way to do it

Hi,

streamer it is tape device (DAT24,DAT40,DAT72, SDLT...)

Look at ignite doc about cloning systems:
