When I made the first one I will copy the image too the next disk.
I know I have to change the network settings afterwards.
Can any one explain me how I do this if the harddrives is installed on the same workstation.
It is a king off partion copy.
Best regards

Re: copy hp/ux image 11.00 to a new disk
if you have streamer you can make ignite boot tape and boot from it.
If not you can boot from cd and use dd command
to copy disks:
dd if=/dev/rdsk/src_disk of=/dev/rdsk/dst_disk bs=4M

Re: copy hp/ux image 11.00 to a new disk
What did you mean with streamer.
If I boot from cd I need a burner off course, but I don´t have any burner.
If I had a burner will that be the best solution.
Can I do it from the network if I use Ignite.
I have no expirence with Ignite...it is the best way to do it
