I have debian sarge with BIND 9.
if I connect via webmin to the DNS Server,
then I get following message:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Existing DNS Zones
There are too many zones on your system to display here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
knows someone howto configure the webmin to get
all zones displayed on one window ?
I have webmin Version 1.180
kind regards
chris

SolutionBeyond that, if its still too many zones, you may need to manage your zones the old fashioned way, on the command line.
Its really not very hard, the zones are in /var/named or /var/named/chroot/var/named and the /etc/named.conf file refers to them.

Re: webmin: there are too many zones on your system to display here
"Maximum number of zones to display". I think you can go up to 250. I have mine set to 50 because I only have 40 or so zones.

Re: webmin: there are too many zones on your system to display here
It should be there, usually in the upper left corner of the window depending on the theme by Webmin Index link. From the main Webmin window, click Servers, then Bind DNS Server.
Are you logging in as Root? It it possible to filter access to parts of modules in Webmin via the Webmin Users control.
