LANCP counters display 'strange' new bits

Dear all,
We've recently upgraded our test boxes to 7.3-2, and put the latest patches on, incl. update v4 and lan v3.
I've also added a new NIC onto our AS4000s.
After net$configure option 3, MC LANCP SHOW DEV/COUNT shows 'strange' bits:
Characteristic #0x00C9, Value = 0000
0 Seconds since last zeroed
etc.
Full output attached.
ewa0 is DC21140 - 100 mbit NI (Tulip)
eia0/1 is DE602-BA i82558 100BaseTX.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,

Re: LANCP counters display 'strange' new bits

Is it possible you are running an older version of LANCP? You may want to check the following:

- DIR SYS$SYSTEM:LANCP.EXE, is it in SYS$COMMON?
- INSTALL LIST SYS$SYSTEM:LANCP.EXE, it isn't installed on my workstation.
- PRODUCT SHOW OBJECT [*]LANCP.EXE; I don't have UPDATE4 installed, but LAN V3 is generation 60110007.

Tiina,
Karl Rohwedder added an interesting link with furthermore information about lancp. I added this document for your information. It appears tulip driver user some other counters.

Re: LANCP counters display 'strange' new bits

It was the LAN V3 patch. It's been undone (I'm grateful for this new pcsi feature!) and show dev/counters show up without any strange referrals to counter resets.
Many thanks, Garry and Antonie, for your contributions. Tiina
