We have recently upgraded a Dell server from Win NT 4 to Win2K. The imaging software application remains the same and is compatible with Win2K. Two 5200ex are connected to this box. Before rebooting the server the optical platters have to be ejected from the drives. If they aren't removed, Win2K will permanently hang in the boot process. We then have to power off the server, eject the platters and then power up the server to successfully reboot. This behavior was not present with NT. Any ideas?

Solutiondid you apply latest Service Pack? Also check drives with HP LTT ( http://www.hp.com/cposupport/information_storage/support_doc/lpg50128.html ) to see if it will find anything wrong
