tpformat 5.2GB Optical
Hi ..
I have an HP1200EX with 10 drives attached to our Netbackup Server running Veritas Netbackup 3.4. All robotic functionality works fine, however when I attempt to use Media Manager (or manually use tpformat from the command prompt) to write a header to the HP 5.2 GB 2048 bytes/sector disks I get a tpformat write error. I know tpformat is a Veritas product, but I was wondering if anyone else may have experienced this problem and what might solve it. I am able to newfs the optical cd's without a problem (both vxfs and hfs), so I am fairly confident that it is a Media Manager / tpformat issue???
Thanks,
Steven Sobkowski
