Hi,
I have a couple of Procurve 2848 and 4 Procurve 2810 switches. These are trunked together with 2 or 4 ports and show up in Procurve Manager link view diagram as a single trunk.
I've bought a Procurve 2610 and trunked it using 2 ports in the same way as the other switches. When I view it in the Procurve Manager diagram is shows up as two separate links rather than a single trunk like the others.
When I change the Link View to "Traffic" the links are greyed out.
Is there a configuration issue with this Trunk or is the 2610 not totally compatible with Procurve Manager?
Thanks,
John

Re: Trunk showing as separate connections in Procurve Manager
Most of the times re-discovering the devices corrects such problem as the database of that device is rebuilt during re-discovery & all the links are re-drawn.

Re: Trunk showing as separate connections in Procurve Manager
I have double checked the trunk setting on both switches and both belong to Default_VLAN and Untagged.
Can anyone advise on why that might be?
