Virtualizing Altiris RDP

I'm trying to find info related to virtualization of Altiris RDP. Is it possible to virtualize the RDP server itself? Any best practices?

Yes it should be possible. I've been to a Altiris deployment course and the lab enviroment was in Vmware server.

HP RDP is supported on vmware esx:

"Support for installation of the RDP deployment server (CMS) on a virtual machine on VMware ESX 3.0.2 and VMware ESX 3.5.0."
