ASR Detected by System ROM
My server keeps rebooting itself multiple times throughout the day. This is the error I recieve in the Compaq error log. Any idea what causes, or how to fix this problem?

Re: ASR Detected by System ROM
That is only noting that the ASR system (automatic server recovery) had to reboot the system. It does not say why (other than either the system was locked up or appeared to be). What are you actually running on this system (software)?

Re: ASR Detected by System ROM
I have the same problem with a 1600 + RAID adapter 231 + 3 DD 9.1 (RAID 5).
In the log I see 3 ASR Detected by System ROM. The server has reboot 3 times without success (NT blue screen, waiting for startup, no 'points' appears) and the fourth is OK.
After this, I have try to reboot again the server with success, but there's a strange thing : it waits 2,5 mn on the NT blue screen (before 'points' appears).
The server runs Lotus Domino R5. Server diags are OK, and RAID card diags too.
Thanks,
Didier STUCKI

Re: ASR Detected by System ROM
My Proliant Server also keeps rebooting itself over and over. "The ASR Detected by System ROM" appears in the error log. Any assistance would be appreciated.
