Nodes disque partitioning

We are tring to install CL380 with an application developed under Informix database
the developper ask to make boot disk of the 2 nodes as C (partition) and actualy we can't make this because node 1 boot disk is assigned to C and node 2 boot disk is assigned to E
is it possible to make the two boot disk assigned to C.
If not how can'I configure the cluster to alow application and data transfert in crash situatiion .

Re: Nodes disque partitioning

Reinstall node 2. When you installed node 1, you then setup the shared storage. After that, you powered down node 1 and installed node 2. The cl380 detects the shared storage drives before the interal hard drives. Node 2 has the shared storage as the "C" drive and the internal as drive as "E" drive. Reinstall node 2 with the isolator buttons press. You will see to amber leds on the isolator board. That will terminate the scsi chain before the shared storage. Install the OS on node 2. After the install, press the 2 buttons again on the isolator board. Node 2 will then see the shared storage and your drive letters will be correct.
