Boot in HPE Proliant DL380 gen10
I have a hpe proliant dl380 gen 10 server, i currently have a problem when booting and operating system (ubuntu 22.04.6 or windows), either legacy BIOS or uefi modes. In the bios exist a message. A message appears in the bios that says hpe proliant dx380 gen 10.
according to what has been investigated, the raid can influence, but when i enter the bios to create a raid, it does not allow me to create it.
As for booting, it allows you to start booting, however after a few seconds the screen goes black with the cursos flashing.

Re: Boot in HPE Proliant DL380 gen10
Hello,
HPE ProLiant DX380 Gen10 server indicates that the BIOS is that of an HPE server developed for Nutanix Operating System. This has to be re-flashed to change its personality into an HPE ProLiant Server. This is a BIOS flash procedure. It is recommended to contact HPE Support by creating a case and take the assistance of an HPE Support engineer to perform this procedure.
Regards,
I work at HPE

Thanks for the clarification! I’ll definitely reach out to HPE Support to get help with the BIOS flash. I appreciate the advice—sounds like something I don’t want to risk doing on my own. Hopefully, the process goes smoothly with their guidance!
