DL360 G9 Memory Operating Frequency
Hi
I'm struggling with my server memory, more precisely with the operating frequency.
I recently bought some memory kits which I thought were HPE but obviously not, also, two memory slots seem to be inoperational.
So I populated the memory by the memory population rules but I do have a maximum operating frequency of 2133Mhz.
The Bios is set to maximum, also the CPUs are eligible.
Is it because the Memory is not officially HPE?
I hope for some help.

Re: DL360 G9 Memory Operating Frequency
Okay, I guess I found out the solution my own.
It's a V3 mainboard, it doesn't support 2400mhz.

Re: DL360 G9 Memory Operating Frequency
well, I guess I still have the issue.
The bad system board has been replaced but the maximum operating frequency is still capped on 2133Mhz, what can cause this?

Re: DL360 G9 Memory Operating Frequency
Hello,
Please check/update server bios with the latest.
Share the IML error from the ILO home page for further analysis, if the issue still persists after system bios updates.

Re: DL360 G9 Memory Operating Frequency
well, the vendor changed the memory which solved the problem.
I'm not happy how HPE handles it.
