DL360p g8 - Critical Temperature Threshold Exceeded.. but no sensors?
HP Community,
Recently I'm experiencing a random shutdown over the last couple of days, and iLO says that it is caused by "Critical Temperature Threshold Exceeded"
I've experienced this error message before (on other dl360s), but not this server. The difference is that, there's no information on which sensors that triggers this message.
Any ideas on how to check which sensors is sending this error?
After server shutdown, I immediately check the temperature in System Information, but there are no sensors that are near the critical temperatures.
Thx!

Re: DL360p g8 - Critical Temperature Threshold Exceeded.. but no sensors?
Hi Suman,
What results/actions will be done by diagnostics? Are there any other alternative ways (from iLO, etc..?)
I'm sorry to ask this question, it's a production server, so need to plan in advance.
Is it possible to show detailed logs from iLO?
Regards

Please log a support case with HPE for AHS logs analysis.
Cheers...

Re: DL360p g8 - Critical Temperature Threshold Exceeded.. but no sensors?
i'm facing same problem with a DL380 gen9 server, but mine cycles when plugged in, starts with green blinking power led , then tries to start but power led turns amber and health led goes red, then is starts again on green blinking power led but with health led in red, and the cycle goes like that over and over, the error in ilo is the same, "Critical Temperature Threshold Exceeded" but not showing wich sensor is above temperature, how can i get a AHS log check?
