first of all memory needs to be installed in pairs that's why there are 2 and 2 x 1 GB for every processor so I hope you have 4 modules of 2 GB
so if that is the case you must follow this procedure
You have to start the order using modules with the largest capacity first. First means the slots furthest from the processor
Proc 1
1A - 2A 2 GB module each one
3B - 4B 1 GB module each one
Proc 2
9E - 10E 2 GB module each one
11F - 12F 1 GB module each one

the problem is I don't have 4x2GB, what I have is 4x1GB plus 2x2GB, totally 8GB memory, not 12GB. What do you suggest in this case?

in that case insert those 2x 2 GB for the processor 1 and the 4 x 1 GB for the processor 2
4 GB for each processor ;-)
