My Customer wants to know if we can connect the zone DMZ of a blade BL20PG3 to an Internet proxy. In other words, he wants to connect the internet proxy to one blade with no access to other baldes, within the same enclosure. Is that possible to have this connectivity?
Thanks in advance for your help and your support.

Solution
Yes, that's possible - in two ways:
- via VLANs - put integrated LAN switches within blade enclosure & set a separate VLAN for your DMZ
- using pass-through modules & external LAN switches - more complex, but if the customer is paranoid about the security, then in this case DMZ will be separated on a physical (not VLAN) level

Don't panic! [THGTTG]

Re: DMZ zone for an internet proxy
Unless you can provide exact details on how the networking on the blades is currently configured, you're unlikely to get an action plan from a forum !

Rob
