errors in adding drive to array

We have a smart array 3200 controller with RAID 5 (total 3 of 9.1GB drives) We would like to add one additional 9.1 GB drive to the array. When we attempt this, we get the following error:
"One or more physical drives added to this array that are too small. Select and assign only thise drives that are at least as large as the smallest drive already assigned."
The only difference I can see in the drives already in the array and the one we are trying to add is the firmware version (in array - ver. 3B02, new - ver. A019,) and the model number of the drives also differs (in array - BD00911934, new - AD009322C5).
We are using ACU ver 2.51.65.1 .
Anyone have any ideas on how to address this?

make absoluteley sure the new drive is at least 9.1gb...if so then it could be the firmware difference as you mentioned...you can update the firware with the options rompaq
