HDD authentication problem with DL360 Gen10 Server (HDD "Not Authenticated")
HDDs in one bay get marked as "no authenticated". This doesn't depend on the drive nor the carrierframe, but on the bay. The server has current patch level (SPP 2025) and the smart array controller has firmware 7.43. For some reason the HDDs firmware itself maintained HPD1 version. The HDD runs without further problems.

Any ideas to get this HDD also authenticated? The neighboring HDDs are of the same type and become authenticated "ok".

Re: HDD authentication problem with DL360 Gen10 Server (HDD "Not Authenticated")
Greetings!
Please re-seat the drive and check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, please test with a known good drive in the affected bay.

Re: HDD authentication problem with DL360 Gen10 Server (HDD "Not Authenticated")
Hi, thanks for your suggestions. But these actions we already tried, e.g. we swapped disks in bays 1 and 2. The error persisted and was still assigned to bay 2, not to the disk.
Kind regards

This could be a bay issue. Please collect the AHS logs and log a support ticket to get this investigated further.
