I want to install a CentOS 6.8 (via kickstart) on an HP Proliant DL360 Gen9 rack server, which has 2 HDDs of 1.2 TB each (not as RAID).
At the formatting step, it generates an error because it does not detect a hard disk.
I have read docs which recommend installing a disk driver by using an rpm tar.gz file (see for example this link: https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/DL360-GEN-8-Unable-to-install-Red-Hat-Enterprise-Linux-Server-6/td-p/6247803). However in my case, I can not do this because my system is not yet installed. Even if I boot with a live CD.
There must be an option in the BIOS that escapes me?
PS: In the BIOS, I see 2 unassigned Hard disks.
Thanks for your answers or suggestions.

Re: HDD not detected (HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9)
I see you solved the issue by creating an array. If you don't want ot use RAID you can do one of the following. For the embedded "B" series Dynamic Smart controller, go into RBSU and change it from RAID mode to AHCI SATA. If the controller is an "H" or "P" series Smart controller, you can set the controller to HBA mode.
