Re: Help Me to solve Problem of installing windows Server 2012 R2 in HP Server Proliant DL380p G8
@nahedDid you try another installation DVD? Seems there's some problem with current one.
As alternative way - you can try to install WS 2k8 directly to server using driver for RAID controller.
Best regards,
Denis

Re: Help Me to solve Problem of installing windows Server 2012 R2 in HP Server Proliant DL380p G8
This could be a possible issue with the OS image too. Can you try a manual OS install, i.e. without IP, and check? If the same issue persists, try a different OS Image OR download a fresh image and test it out.

Vador

Re: Help Me to solve Problem of installing windows Server 2012 R2 in HP Server Proliant DL380p G8
@nahedI don't see any HW issue with this server. It looks operational. Maybe there's some components FW incompatibility, because FW level is very different for components.
I'd recommend to update server using SPP Gen8.1, but you should have valid support to download it.

Denis

@nahedReally not sure. Installation should work. Do you have some other HPE server with active support?

Re: Help Me to solve Problem of installing windows Server 2012 R2 in HP Server Proliant DL380p G8
Windows Server 2012 R2 is very much supported on HP Server Proliant DL380p G8. The error you encounter is due to the issue with the OS image. Try to use another ISO image to isolate the issue.
If the issue persists with another image, then try with manual or PXE installation.
Before you proceed with OS installation, please confirm if the RAID has been configured, then proceed.
Hope this Helps !

Hi,
Is there a Fibre card installed. If so, please remove the card and try installing the operating system.
Also confirm the boot order & Raid is configured.
Hope this Helps !

Re: Help Me to solve Problem of installing windows Server 2012 R2 in HP Server Proliant DL380p G8
@nahedthere's no licenses for downloading some SW. It's required to have valid contract. Normally it's minimum 1 year, but you can ask local sales for 1 month contract. Sometimes it's possible.
