how to enable raid mode for smart array p420i controller on proliant dl360p gen8

hello,
I have a issue with the smart array p420i controller on my proliant dl360p gen8. it's in hba mode and I want to comeback to raid mode.
from the ssa UI I don't have the action to go back to raid mode.
In the boot sequence, I have the following message : hardware raid support is disabled via controller nvram configuration settings
if anyone has a solution ... it would be really helpful

Re: how to enable raid mode for smart array p420i controller on proliant dl360p gen8

hello,

I already saw those thread, but my issue is bit more complex (I think)
since I can't access the Os I can't run the ssacli. I tried to load it from
scripting toolkit windows pe 64 bit but I had an error about missing
drivers.

the firmware version is 8.32. I have been able to reinstall the drivers for
scripting toolkit windows pe 64 bit, reboot the server and no cancel hba
mode button

So I really need a solution !

Hi,

Kindly download the below offline SSA  . Mount the SSA ISO image via Virtual media(or burn/write the ISO image to the desired media (CD/DVD/USB Key/SD card)) and boot from the ISO image, then you can access SSA GUI or cli and check if you are able to change the controller mode from HBA to RAID mode
