HP Ml30 Gen 9 (Xeon e3 1240 v5) upgrade to Xeon e3 1270
Can i upgrade my hp ml 30 gen 9 with a xeon e3 1240 v5 to a zeon e3 1270 v6? if not what is the best v5 cpu?

Yes,The Intel Xeon E3-1270 v6 is indeed supported on the HP ProLiant ML30 Gen9 server.
HPE's official documentation lists it as a compatible processor for this model, along with other v6 series CPUs like the Xeon E3-1280 v6.
