Re: HP ml350 G6 no display all green internal external leds
Hi,
You can minimialize the server, less memory, no pci cards. maybe 1 cpu
if you know the ILO I P adress, you can try to connect and see what the IML is saying

Re: HP ml350 G6 no display all green internal external leds
Hello,
As you mentioned , that the server is now throwing errors, means that the display is working fine now.
We need to isolate from the hardware end.. To figure out memory related issues, i would recommend to try one RAM at a time , and use all the modules one by one to isolate the faulty one.
You may also share the error message here to further advise you on this.
Thanks,
TAM

Re: HP ml350 G6 no display all green internal external leds
Hi, you have to give both cpu's memory modules
Multi-processor Advanced ECC population orderFor Advanced ECC mode configurations with multiple processors, populate the DIMM slots for each processor in the following order:
RDIMM: Sequentially in alphabetical order (A through I)
UDIMM: A through F, sequentially in alphabetical order. Do not populate DIMM slots G through I.

Re: HP ml350 G6 no display all green internal external leds
Please refer to the below document for memory population guidelines for the server.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c01727710
Install memory modules in the order mentioned and check.
Thanks,
TAM

Re: HP ml350 G6 no display all green internal external leds
Its not working on processor two though. I have tried different ram and it still isnt working. Too my understanding you are meant to populate from a to i which ive done. but nothing. Ive tried installing them in just the white abc slots and its still not working.
any ideas?
thanks tim
