HP proLiant DL380p Gen8 nvidia GPU not recognised in windows server 2016

Hello,

i have an HP proLiant DL380p Gen8 running with windows server 2016. Bios has been updated.

2 xeon cpu's installed also a PCI riser card.

I tried several nvidia cards (nvidia quattro and 1080 TI ).

The cards are producing video output, but are not recognised properly.

    Device manager shows:

Display adapters - Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

What can i do to make it work? Did I miss any BIOS adjustments ect. ?

Thanks!!
