HPE SN1100Q 16 Gb 2P FC HBA | Unknown Status
Hello,
I have a ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus server. I'm using Esxi 7. After restarting the server, the HPE SN1100Q 16 Gb 2P FC HBA status showed Unknown from iLO 5. Now it is not detected in the Esxi.. Please, I need your urgent help.

Hi @CooperPharmaAra ,
1) Please update the system with SPP so that firmware of all the system components including FC HBA will be updated.
2) Try installing the Esxi through the Intelligent provisioning. Verify that the ESXi version must be supported to the server and must be HPE custom image.

Thank you for your response.
The ESXi installation utilized an HPE custom ESXi image.
Before the recent restart, the server operated smoothly. However, following the restart, the network adapter's functionality has been compromised, displaying an "unknown state" in the iLO interface.

I got stuck with an error message ( The last attempt to update or upload firmware was not successful. Make sure you are using a valid, signed flash file and try again. If you are attempting to install a component, first upload it to the iLO Repository then add it to the Installation Queue. )

What is the staus of the HPE SN1100Q 16 Gb 2P FC HBA from the OS?
We need to understand whether this adapter is also offline/dodn from the operating system or if it's just displaying an unknown status in iLO?
Check the Agentless Management Service status from the OS. Restart the service and check.
esxcli daemon info get -s amsd ---- To check amsd status.
[root@localhost:~] esxcli daemon control stop -s amsd
[root@localhost:~] esxcli daemon control start -s amsd
[root@localhost:~] esxcli daemon control restart -s amsd
