iLO Amplifier Pack NICs on VLAN
Hello,
Hoping someone could help or point me in the right direction. I'm trying to get the iLO Amplifier pack working on a Windows Hyper-V Cluster. No matter what I do, the NICs will not pull an IP address. Setting a static also doesn't work.
We are using a converged network so we're passing VLANs to the vSwitch and using tagging the VLAN on the VMs NIC. This is where it seems to be failing. I have tried on two separate clusters and it does the same thing. If I install on a standalone Hyper-V server with nothing but very basic networking then it pulls an IP immediately.
Am I missing something obvious or is this just not supported? If we had to add 1GB NICs to the servers that wouldn't be the end of the world to run this but I'd rather avoid that if possible.
Thank you!
Wayne
