Hello,
Please refer to the general and specific user guides for Intel VROC at the Intel support page and see if they help.
Please note that above link takes you away from HPE web domain and HPE is not responsible for their content.

Hi @casimiroleal11 ,
Suprisingly, I didn't find the word 'Block size' in VROC documents, but I assume block size is called as Strip size in Intel VROC RAID controller.
It must be 64KB for RAID 5. Refer this HPE document.
I hope, my post helps you, if yes, please give 'Kudos' and mark my post as 'Accepted solution'

Hi @casimiroleal11 ,
No he trabajado mucho en el controlador VROC. Probemos lo que entend├н:
English :
Let's test as what I understood,
1) Select only port 4 and port 5 disks, keep strip size to 64KB and create RAID 0 or 1
2) Select only port 6 and port 7 disks, keep strip size to 64KB and create RAID 0 or 1
Result :
a) If both RAID levels are created successfully, then we conclude, creating RAID with all 4 RAIDs will not work due to Disks are different.
b) If only one RAID level is created, then only those disks are compatible to create RAID in VROC.
If any one of the RAID is working fine, then, you need to purchase the same disk, insert and create RAID 5.

Shiva_jr
