Hi,
I updated intelligent provisioning to 3.89..4 but now F10 boots the os instead of asking for intelligent provisioning or controller management.
I created a repair usb stick and booted intelligent provisioning recovery but that fails during communication with iLO and says "Unable to mount the install media".
Other ideas please?
Thanks
Martin

Re: MicroServer Gen10 Plus: intelligent provisioning no longer working after update
I recreated the stick and got one step further but now it says "Error flashing the NVRAM".

Re: MicroServer Gen10 Plus: intelligent provisioning no longer working after update
I have now completely disconnected the server from the power supply and then tried again.
Now the flash process was successful. and F10 is working again.
Sorry

Dear MRothschink
I am very happy to here that you have been resolved your issue by ownself. thou I seize this oppertunaty to inform you Intelligent Provisioning recovery steps.

Next Reboot the server => When prompted, press F9 to access the UEFI System Utilities => Select System Configuration => Select BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) => Select Server Security => Select Intelligent Provisioning (F10 Prompt) and press Enter => Select Enabled. Next Please shut down your server => remove upper cover => remove RAID controller card from PCI slot or remove SAS cable from onboard SAS port for onboard controller(for protection your RAID configuration and DATA) => toggle to set on possition of No6 switch of maintanance switch on system board (Position of maintanance switch described on upper cover as X ) => Power on server for couple of munites till there is a massage appear on screen as Maintanance switch on => power of remove power => again toggle maintanace switch 6 as normal position => power on the server to initialize system hardware => again power off the server and remove all cables=> re-install RAID controller card or onboard SAS cable => Power on server and boot by USB media => will take couple of munites to flash the image file. after that reboot the server Now you can able to go in intelligent provisioning by pressing F10 during POST screen.

Re: MicroServer Gen10 Plus: intelligent provisioning no longer working after update
Hi,
unfortunately the issue is back. After pressing F10 and selecting intelligent provisioning, a firmware update job started/resumed and again installed IP 3.89.4. And again after reboot F10 is no longer working.
What should I do now? Recover again?
Regards
Martin

Re: MicroServer Gen10 Plus: intelligent provisioning no longer working after update
Dear MRothschink
Already I have shared the steps. can you perform the steps?? If no, please perform the steps. If yes, Lodge a complain in HPE support portal for system board replacement.
Thanks & Regards...

SolutionYes, resetting to factory state did the trick.
It was somewhat difficult to access the maintenance switch, as you have to remove the riser card and iLO from the MicroServer.
Thanks
Martin
